Intersteps Championship - The Championship

¤ The Intersteps Championship is positioned as an entry level single seater Championship.

¤ It is supported by the MSA and the Racing Steps Foundation.

¤ The Intersteps Championship is a "one make" category with cars being of the same performance.

¤ For 2011 the Intersteps Championship will be run over 20 races at 7 events.

¤ Rules are strictly enforced to ensure that all cars deliver the same performance thereby making The Intersteps Championsip a "Drivers" formula.

¤ The Intersteps Championship provides a quality platform to launch Drivers' careers.

¤ A first class training ground for young racing drivers.

¤ The Intersteps Championship will use the Mygale FB02 car which has been used extremely successfully in Formula BMW worldwide.

¤ Formula 1 drivers, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Buemi, Nico Hulkenberg, Christian Klien all started their careers in the Mygale FB02 car.

¤ The Intersteps Championship has the benefit of TV coverage.

¤ The Racing Steps Foundation will be choosing 3 drivers from the Intersteps Championship to test and receive support for their 2012 Formula Renault programme.

¤ The Racing Steps Foundation will also be mentoring drivers as well as helping them with other aspects of motorsport such as media.
