Formula Autosport Young Guns - The Cars ¤ Tubular steel spaceframe, powder coated chassis built to FIA article 227 for 2009, manufactured from 4130 and T45 to current F3 specification. ¤ The 2009 JKS F75 chassis complies with the new 2010 mandatory side impact protection ruling, along with anti intrusion panels. ¤ The engine is a standard production Suzuki GSX-R 750 with a six speed sequential gearbox, a well proven and ultra reliable chain drive to Quaife ATB differential. ¤ A semi-automatic gear change system with steering wheel mounted paddle change, this set up allows both clutchless upshifts and downshifts. ¤ A gearbox mounted, electrically operated reverse gear. ¤ An additional safety feature has been incorporated in the F75's electronics. In the event of a damp track or a wet race the ECU has 3 settings that reduce engine power accordingly. ¤ Pushrod operated, fully adjustable inboard coil over dampers. ¤ All bodywork is glass reinforced plastic with adjustable front and rear wing elements. ¤ Machined uprights and Alcon racing brake calipers. ¤ ATL bag tank FIA approved with internal pump, regulator and filter. ¤ Lightweight forged race wheels.
